IPO Guest Speaker Invite a Merrill Lynch expert to talk about a topic of interest to youngsters at your school or organization. Guest speakers can cover any of the 15 IPO topics or one that you request and provide real-world examples of working on Wall Street, investing and finance, career paths, long-term planning, saving, managing good credit and much more. One-time or ongoing activity

Wall St. & Sesame St. Reach out to the youngest audience, ages 3 to 6. These IPO Volunteer-hosted sessions feature an English/Spanish activity book created by Sesame Street and Merrill Lynch and interactive website games. One-time or ongoing activity

Job Shadowing Students make the school-to-work connection through "shadowing." This activity features IPO Volunteers sharing their real-life job and career path experiences. To start youngsters thinking about their own career interests and the necessary steps to achieve their goals with the help of the IPO curriculum (Jobs & Career). One-time activity

Field Trip Host Youngsters learn first-hand about the inner-workings of the business world through a visit to a Merrill Lynch location. Youngsters learn about the daily job duties and job functions of their IPO Volunteer host while getting a firsthand view of a business. Presentation of IPO curriculum topics can supplement class lessons. One-time activity

IPO Day Commit to a single day of learning for your school or organization. This day-long engagement features presentations by one or several IPO Volunteers covering the IPO curriculum's 15 strategies. Ideal for large groups, in a school assembly or student-parent activity setting. One-time activity

IPO Mentor/Tutor IPO Mentors and Tutors work closely with youngsters, helping them to reach their full potential. Tutoring sessions focus on assistance with the child's school work while mentoring sessions cover the IPO curriculum. Ongoing activity

Business Plan Coach Help youngsters learn about entrepreneurship by creating an imaginary business venture with the help of an expert. IPO Volunteers work closely with youngsters to hone business concepts, write business plans, and create financial statements. Ongoing activity

IPO Class IPO Class is a 15-session program to help youngsters become money-smart and business savvy. IPO Volunteers teach the 15 IPO curriculum topics individually, as a team of volunteers or in partnership with the Instructor. Ongoing activity

IPO Judge Judges assess youngsters' understanding and presentations of key concepts as part of financial, entrepreneurship and business plan competitions. One-time or ongoing activity
