Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County actively promotes its programs in agency publications and through media outreach efforts that target print, television and radio coverage in various languages. In another effort to gain visibility, Catholic Charities is leading a discussion group at the 2002 International Individual Development Account (IDA) Conference.
Another productive partnership we anticipate for the coming year is with the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE). We will help NFTE find youngsters who are interested in learning how to be entrepreneurs and want to participate in their workshops. This collaboration will also help foster a relationship between NFTE and the school district so NFTE can expand its services to more students. We will gain significant benefits because NFTE will provide us with a ready-made curriculum that teaches entrepreneurship.
